How it works

From file to embed.

  1. Create a library

    Name it and choose the highest quality: 480p, 720p or 1080p. Lower sizes are always made too.

  2. Upload

    Drop a file in the console, or use the CLI for many files or a script.

  3. Embed

    When it is ready, copy the snippet onto your page.

Pricing

Pay once to encode. Then for storage and playback.

Encoding is charged once per upload, by the length of the video. The library is billed at the storage rate. Playback is billed as outgoing traffic.

Common questions

How big can a video be?
Up to 8 GB. Files over 300 MB are sent in parts, which the CLI does for you.
Do viewers really use no data?
On the five supported networks, yes. The player's stats panel shows the data used, so you can check it yourself.
Should I pick 1080p?
Only if your viewers need it. It costs more to encode and takes about twice the storage. 720p is the default.
Is it ready for production?
Video is in beta. There are limits on how much you can store, and features and pricing may change.
